Prepare yourselves, Maddie Hayes devotees! Hulu is about to drop a bombshell: Brace for the inaugural release of all 67 episodes of Moonlighting, exclusively available for streaming on the platform from October 10.

Hulu assures fans that every episode of this 1980s comedic gem, headlined by Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd, has undergone a meticulous HD remastering process, derived directly from the initial film source. What's more, it will showcase the Grammy-nominated title track performed by none other than Al Jarreau.

It's hardly unexpected that Moonlighting found its way to Hulu. Back in October 2022, Creator Glenn Gordon Caron hinted at a potential Moonlighting comeback on Twitter. He mentioned, "Disney and I have collaborated and devised a strategy.

The initial speculation revolved around the possibility of either Disney+ or Hulu acquiring the episodes from the well-loved 1985-89 ABC show. However, a significant hurdle was the matter of securing rights to the music, as the series relied heavily on popular tracks spanning multiple decades.

Now, it seems that issue has been resolved. Soon, anyone with a Hulu subscription will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the story of Maddie Hayes (played by Shepherd), a financially strapped fashion model who becomes deeply entangled in a detective agency that she not only owns but also employs a witty private investigator named David Addison Jr. (portrayed by Willis).

Tensions of a romantic nature escalate, paralleled by the unfolding backstage intrigue.

Moonlighting enjoyed a five-season run until the mounting tensions between the two lead actors became too pronounced. Additionally, Shepherd's pregnancy leave and Willis' aspiration to become a major movie star had an impact on production. Willis achieved his breakthrough in the world of cinema with the release of "Die Hard" in 1988, which preceded the final season of the series.
