During the game on September 24th, the Kansas City Chiefs not only defeated the Chicago Bears, but also received special attention during Sunday night's broadcast of Fox's "America's Game of the Week". This Taylor's Version of the game drew an impressive total audience of 24.32 million viewers, particularly resonating with female viewers across the age groups of 12-17 and 18-49.

Beyond Patrick Mahomes' standout performance, the game featured an unexpected appearance by Taylor Swift. She enjoyed the match from a suite alongside Chiefs player Travis Kelce's mother, Donna. The Chiefs dominated the competition, ultimately finishing with a commanding score of 41-10. Swift's presence likely contributed to the heightened interest in the game, as fans of the "Afterglow" singer reacted to circulating rumors about a potential connection with Kelce.

Compared to last year's statistics, the showdown fell just short of expectations by 8%. The Game of the Week in the previous year garnered a total of 26.4 million viewers. Similarly, ratings saw a dip when compared to the previous year in crucial demographics like adults aged 18-49 and 25-54, experiencing a 5% drop in the 18-34 demographic. Nevertheless, the Sunday night telecast claimed the title of the most-watched program of the week across all networks.

This momentum carried into the night with the premiere of Dan Harmon's "Krapopolis" immediately following the game, drawing in 3.6 million total viewers and securing a 1.2 rating among adults aged 18-49. However, the viewership dipped with the debut of the second episode in Fox's double-header. Entitled "The Stuperbowl," the episode averaged 1.8 million viewers, earning a 0.5 rating among adults aged 18-49.

"Krapopolis" is set to officially premiere in its regular time slot on Sunday, October 1st at 8:30 pm ET/PT as part of the network's "Animation Domination" lineup.
