"Mike White, please end it for me," pleaded the actress.

Attention, Mike White: Elizabeth Banks is earnestly expressing her desire to be a part of — and meet her demise at — a White Lotus resort.

During her appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark last Friday to discuss her upcoming animated feature Migration, which was penned by White, the mastermind behind The White Lotus, Banks shared that the production of the film coincided with White's involvement in the first two seasons of his HBO sensation. Capitalizing on the moment, she seized the opportunity to make a heartfelt plea for White to consider casting her in an upcoming season.

Expressing her fervent wish, Banks declared, "I am yearning to meet my demise on The White Lotus. End my character. I'm begging you, end me." With a plea to hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, she implored them to sway White's decision, urging, "Convince him, please!"

Ripa expressed, "It's common knowledge that our talk show holds a special place in Mike White's heart. So, Mike, we're making a request: cast your pal Elizabeth Banks in either Season 3 or 4 of The White Lotus—we're not picky!" The acclaimed series delves into the lives of dysfunctional guests and staff at the fictional luxury White Lotus resort chain across a week. Season 3, much-awaited and rumored to unfold in Thailand following the previous seasons set in Hawaii and Italy, will see the return of fan-favorite Natasha Rothwell, reprising her role as spa manager Belinda, previously entangled with the late Tanya played by Jennifer Coolidge in the debut season of 2021.

Details about season 3 remain scarce, but White has hinted that it will present a satirical exploration of "death, Eastern religion, and spirituality." In a recent interview with EW, he mentioned that the upcoming season will be "supersized," promising a longer, larger, and more intense experience. White expressed his enthusiasm, acknowledging that he doesn't know how viewers will react, but personally feeling extremely excited about the upcoming season.
