"I embodied the archetype of the typical girl, but there existed another facet of me, transforming into a kind of demon sorceress," she explained. "And I encompass both those aspects."

Megan Fox possesses an affinity for the supernatural.

In a recent WWD interview promoting her poetry book, "Pretty Boys Are Poisonous," the Transformers star shared her connection with the character Jennifer from her book's title. "I believe it truly reflects who I am at my core," she expressed. "Before Jennifer was transformed into a demon, evolving into this Gothic icon, she embodied the archetype of a bubbly, typical cheerleader, a Forever 21 girl."

In the 2009 horror film, Fox's character undergoes a supernatural metamorphosis following a failed pact with the devil. Fox elaborated, stating, "Initially, she epitomized the typical girl, but there was this hidden aspect where she transformed into a demon sorceress. I identify with both facets, as I encompass both elements and always have."

Fox shared that during her teenage years, she embraced a blend of Hot Topic attire and what she describes as "provocative clothing from Forever 21." This fusion played a role in her resonance with the character Jennifer. Over the years, her relationship with fashion has experienced fluctuations. Reflecting on her past, Fox revealed a complex dynamic with fashion, marked by a rejection of fame and the imposed image she was expected to embody.

Acknowledging her previous avoidance of fashion, the actress elaborated, stating, "My self-expression faced barriers during that period." However, she went on to disclose a recent rediscovery of her connection to fashion. Presently, she finds herself navigating various phases, exploring what styles resonate with her and how clothing can articulate her emotions, desires, and expressions in the moment.

In addition, Fox expressed dissatisfaction with the limited creative fulfillment she derives from her performances, attributing it to the restricted control over the creative process. She remarked on the challenge of expressing creativity within the confines of the actor's role, highlighting that only a select few actors possess the ability to fully convey themselves within these boundaries—a skill she doesn't believe she possesses.
