There's been speculation among fans that Swift contributed vocals to the song without receiving credit.

Although it could have potentially influenced the outlook for world peace, Taylor Swift is notably absent from Beyoncé's eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.

Fans on both sides of the aisle have been speculating about whether Swift lends her uncredited vocals to the track "Bodyguard," but Entertainment Weekly can confirm that the "Anti-Hero" songstress is not featured in Beyoncé's packed rodeo.

In a press release issued Friday morning, Beyoncé celebrated the numerous collaborators she collaborated with on the album, a project that has been in development for five years. According to her, each track embodies "a reimagined Western film," drawing inspiration from cinematic works such as Five Fingers for Marseilles, Urban Cowboy, The Hateful Eight, Space Cowboys, The Harder They Fall, and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Nevertheless, Swift isn't among those collaborators and doesn't feature anywhere on the latest album.

Cowboy Carter serves as the second installment in a musical trilogy, succeeding 2022's Renaissance. Interestingly, Beyoncé initially intended to debut Cowboy Carter before Renaissance. However, amidst the weight of the pandemic, she rightfully concluded, "We wanted to dance. We deserved to dance."

In her latest endeavor, Beyoncé has crafted her most ambitious work yet. Cowboy Carter delves into history and culture, traversing not only country music but also venturing into realms of rock & roll, Americana, bluegrass, and various other styles.

"I believe audiences will be pleasantly surprised because this music isn't what they might anticipate," Beyoncé expressed in a statement, "yet, it stands as the pinnacle of my musical journey."
