"It's unlikely to occur."

Glen Powell's parents not only brought him into this world but also reserve the right to tease him whenever they want.

Cyndy and Glen Powell Sr., parents of the actor, pulled a prank on Wednesday at the Austin premiere of his latest film, Hit Man. They wielded oversized signs demanding an end to their son's career, much to the amusement of onlookers.

Channeling Regina George's infamous burn book, Cyndy positioned herself behind her son on the red carpet, holding a sign that bluntly stated, "Cease your attempts to make Glen Powell relevant."

Included Glen Powell Sr. alongside his personalized sign declaring, "It's not going to occur."

In event snapshots, Powell is captured sporting a smile and nonchalantly shrugging off his parents' teasing. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight afterward, he shared that he wasn't fazed by their playful prank.

"You know, my folks have a knack for teasing me," Powell chuckled. "I don't really keep up with tweets, but my parents sure do, so if you're throwing shade, just know my folks are catching it."

He persisted, saying, "They thought it would be a humorous notion, and I embraced it wholeheartedly. Despite their teasing, they stand by me in every aspect."

Even though Cyndy and Glen Powell Sr. tried to intervene, their son's career continued to soar. Despite their efforts, the actor, who gained attention for his role in the rom-com Anyone but You alongside Sydney Sweeney, is set for numerous upcoming projects, including Hit Man, the sequel to Twister, and a new Hulu comedy named Chad Powers.

Powell's parents have playfully teased him before. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, he jokingly referred to them as "nepo-mommy and nepo-daddy" due to their frequent cameos in his movies.

"At the beginning, they were super excited about me getting new roles," Powell quipped. "But now, all they care about is what part they're going to play in the movie."
