Prince Harry retains exclusive control over the highly profitable film, television, and stage rights to his memoir, "Spare," which broke records upon its worldwide release in January 2023, sources say.

The book quickly became the fastest-selling nonfiction title on its release day, drawing attention for its revelations about Harry's estrangement from his brother, Prince William, and frank descriptions of his military service in Afghanistan, including combat experiences.

According to The Mail, Prince Harry has strategically secured control over the rights to his memoir, Spare, preventing any unauthorized adaptations for screen or stage. This move allows him to oversee any dramatizations personally, ensuring they align with his vision.

At 39, Prince Harry likely made this decision to protect the portrayal of his late mother, Princess Diana, and his wife, Meghan Markle, from potential misrepresentations.

Though it's unclear if a film or stage adaptation is in the works, Prince Harry's substantial partnership with Netflix, established in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties, could play a key role in any future projects.

He is currently producing a series that delves into the world of professional polo, a sport personally significant to him. This series is prominently filmed at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida.

The initiative provides an intimate look at Harry's lifelong passion for polo, a passion he has shared with his brother, Prince William, since childhood.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle, 42, is set to release a documentary that celebrates the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and the bonds of friendship.
