In an interview with Indian media, Bhasin shared that she had worn contact lenses before heading to an event in New Delhi. Soon after, she began experiencing severe eye pain.
Despite the discomfort, Bhasin chose to attend the event, but the pain became so intense that she lost her vision.

Bhasin then consulted an eye surgeon, who revealed that her corneas had been severely damaged by the contact lenses. "The doctor told me that my corneas were badly damaged due to the contact lenses," she explained.
Doctors have now bandaged her eyes, and it will take 4 to 5 days for her vision to recover. Bhasin emphasized the importance of taking good care of her eyes during this period.
