Speaking to The Sun, royal commentator Tom Bower criticized the palace’s handling of the issue, stating that it was a 'disastrous misstep' which left Kate in an unfortunate position. Bower described the Photoshop incident as a 'tragic, self-inflicted wound.'"
On March 10, Catherine posted a heartwarming photo for Mother’s Day, showcasing herself with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
However, the image quickly came under scrutiny, with several major media outlets issuing a 'kill notice' after allegations of editing surfaced.
This development comes against the backdrop of mounting speculation regarding Kate's location following her abdominal surgery in January.
Tom suggests that the drama could have been avoided with more thoughtful consideration.
"Finally, the Princess of Wales has addressed the controversy, confessing that she had 'experimented with editing.'
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer in March."
