David Beckham issues a stern warning to Victoria Beckham regarding their daughter Harper

David Beckham is becoming increasingly concerned about his wife Victoria's intentions for their only daughter, Harper.

David Beckham, known for being a protective father, particularly when it comes to his teenage daughter, Harper, has given some firm guidelines to his wife, Victoria, regarding their daughter.

The former Spice Girl and fashion designer is gradually getting their youngest child ready for the next chapter in her life.

However, the former footballer is worried that his wife might try to turn their daughter into a younger version of herself, according to a source who spoke with Closer magazine.

"David is worried that Victoria is trying to turn Harper into a mini version of herself," the source revealed. "He’s concerned that their teenage daughter is not only being pushed further into the spotlight but also feels pressured to grow up too quickly because of their celebrity status."

The British couple is very aware of the effects fame has had on their three older children, prompting them to be extra cautious with their only daughter.

"Victoria and David have seen how the boys were impacted by public scrutiny and criticism as they grew up, and they are even more protective of Harper, especially since girls at this age tend to be more impressionable."

The insider added that because of David’s worries, Victoria has "reassured David that she is equally mindful of protecting their daughter. She has promised not to overdo things and aims to maintain a healthy balance to ensure Harper doesn’t mature too quickly."
