Jennifer Garner’s Fun Farming Tribute on National Farmer's Day

Jennifer Garner shared a heartfelt yet humorous Instagram post celebrating National Farmer's Day on October 12. The 52-year-old actress gave fans a glimpse of her family’s farming roots and her own hands-on experience in agriculture.

In the post, Garner shared clips and photos, reflecting her love for farming—something she inherited from her parents. However, chickens didn’t seem to get the same affection! The first clip showed Garner riding a toy tractor while a chicken jumped onto her head, leading her to exclaim, "I don't like this!" followed by, "I don’t have much love for chickens" and an exaggerated cough.

The post then moved to lighter farming scenes: planting a tree, harvesting sweet potatoes, and even operating a farm machine while singing along. Touchingly, Garner also shared cherished moments with her late father, William John Garner, planting crops together.

Included in the tribute were sweet photos of her parents, William and Patricia Ann Garner, dressed in matching overalls, embodying the true spirit of farming life.

"Farmers are the backbone of our nation. Happy #NationalFarmersDay! Love from your biggest fan, Farmer Jen," Garner captioned.

Garner’s family has owned Oklahoma’s Locust Grove farm since 1936. She bought the land in 2017, where she now grows produce for her organic baby food brand, Once Upon a Farm, including pumpkins, blueberries, rye, and native wildflowers.
