Justin Bieber may soon find himself in a courtroom battle.
The 30-year-old pop sensation is reportedly contemplating a lawsuit against his former business managers, claiming they mismanaged his considerable fortune, as reported by TMZ.
Sources close to the situation revealed that Bieber has been dissatisfied for years, believing that poor financial choices made by his management team have resulted in a significant loss of his wealth. While the exact amount he thinks was mishandled remains unclear, he has been in discussions about legal action with his current financial advisors.
Not everyone within Bieber’s camp is supportive of this decision. Some of his current team members reportedly argue that his personal spending habits have also played a role in his financial difficulties, complicating the potential lawsuit.
With an estimated net worth of $300 million, Bieber made headlines in January 2023 by selling his music catalog for $200 million to Hipgnosis Songs Capital. This deal included his publishing and recorded music rights, encompassing his extensive collection of hit songs.
Although Justin has replaced his previous business manager, Lou Taylor, with Edward White — who also manages Johnny Depp — it remains uncertain whether he will move forward with legal action against those he believes are responsible.
