A senior Hollywood insider revealed that this project is being discussed as part of the Sussexes’ long-term Netflix deal, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Diana’s tragic passing in Paris.
The proposed documentary is expected to be a two- or three-part series, scheduled for release in 2027, marking three decades since the untimely demise of the People’s Princess.
An industry insider disclosed, “The plan is for this to be a solo project for Prince Harry, where he will serve as a co-executive producer, host, and narrator.”
“He is uniquely positioned, not only to speak about the woman he knew as his beloved mother, but also to reflect on her enduring impact as a cultural and social icon still adored by millions worldwide,” the source added.
The documentary makers are confident that Harry’s involvement will bring authenticity and depth, ensuring the project is handled with care and sensitivity, offering new perspectives on Diana’s legacy.
Notably, this endeavor could also serve as a stepping stone for Prince Harry and Prince William to mend their fractured bond, as both brothers hold their mother’s memory close to their hearts.
