The most recent installment of Season 8 of Karan Johar's "Koffee With Karan" was released at midnight on Thursday, November 30th. During the talk show, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, who are not only entertainment industry beauties but also cousins, shared numerous intriguing revelations while seated on the couch. Among the topics discussed was the period in the 2000s when they had a period of non-communication.

Rani Mukerji and Kajol share the reasons behind their lack of communication.

The sixth installment of Season 8 in the Koffee with Karan series proved to be exceptionally entertaining, promising continuous laughter. Seated on the couch were the lively cousins, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, whose infectious energy forced the host, filmmaker Karan Johar, to momentarily pause and take a breather amid the jovial atmosphere. Amidst the laughter, the iconic actresses from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also candidly addressed a phase in the 2000s when they weren't as communicative.

Karan Johar, having a personal and professional history with both actresses, highlighted the intriguing aspect of their limited interaction despite their familial connection. In response, the Dilwale actress dismissed any significant issue, stating, "Nothing like that really. It was just a natural distance. Regarding work, it's more about both of us being content where we were."

When asked if she also sensed the distance, the Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway actress affirmed the observation. She shared, "Because I've known her since childhood, and she was Kajol didi for me, it felt a bit strange. I suppose when you grow apart, you're not entirely sure why, as you don't meet as often. Kajol didi used to stay in town, while we were in Juhu. My sister Tanisha and I were much closer, and we still are. Kajol didi was always closer to the boys in the family, so it was a bit peculiar."

This is the story of how Kajol and Rani Mukerji forged their connection.

Following Karan's inquiry about the evolution of their relationship, Rani shared, "It progressed more after our fathers passed away." Kajol chimed in, saying, "It's a natural progression." Elaborating on the matter, the Hichki star continued, "As families, when you experience the loss of your loved ones... I was particularly close to Kajol's dad. During challenging times and bereavements, that's when everyone tends to draw closer."
