Clinton Liberty (Normal People) takes on the role of Addam of Hull; Jamie Kenna (Children of Men) steps into the shoes of Ser Alfred Broome; Kieran Bew (Warrior) embodies Hugh; Tom Bennett (David Brent: Life on the Road) portrays Ulf; Vincent Regan (One Piece) brings Ser Rickard Thorne to life; and Tom Taylor (The Dark Tower) assumes the highly anticipated character of Lord Cregan Stark.
The teaser provides a glimpse into the somber aftermath of the crucial Season 1 finale, wherein the demise of Lucerys Velaryon (Elliot Grihault), the young and gentle child of Rhaenyra Targaryen, unfolded during an aerial clash on dragonback with Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell).
This preview diverges from the footage revealed to the press in New York City during the 2024 lookahead presentation at the beginning of November. The sorrow is palpable on Rhaenyra's ash-stained visage, the rightful queen of the Iron Throne, as she gazes solemnly from Dragonstone castle. Meanwhile, her husband and uncle, the fiery Prince Daemon (Matt Smith), appears poised for vengeance in his wartime armor.
"The conflict will rage on, claiming many lives, and the eventual victor will ascend to the throne," declares Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).
