LOS ANGELES -- Before you catch Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in action together in "Deadpool & Wolverine," revisit their paths to fame.

On The Red Carpet has delved into over 25 years of interviews with these charming stars, uncovering a treasure trove of entertaining clips for fans.

For example, long before he became "Deadpool," Ryan Reynolds chatted with On The Red Carpet's George Pennacchio in 1998 about his role in the ABC sitcom "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place."

"It's two guys... a girl... and a pizza place," added Richard Ruccolo, Reynolds' co-star, with a grin.

"Due to his background in musical theater, we initially considered naming it 'CATS,' Reynolds mentioned.

Years later, Hugh Jackman made his American film debut as 'Wolverine' in the original 'X-Men' film and later appeared alongside Ryan in the 2009 movie 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine.'

The reunion of 'Deadpool' and 'Wolverine' on screen was largely thanks to director Shawn Levy, who had previously collaborated with Hugh on 'Real Steel' and with Ryan on 'Free Guy.'

Over the years, both Hugh and Ryan have received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Hugh has also left his handprints at the TCL Chinese Theatre."

Despite their numerous successes over the years, these two major stars have consistently returned to their cherished Marvel superhero roles.

In a memorable interview, George Pennacchio chatted with Ryan Reynolds about his role as "Deadpool" while promoting the first standalone "Deadpool" film.

George asked, "How does it feel to always be in Wolverine's shadow?"

Deadpool replied, "How does it feel to always be in Barbara Walters' shadow?"

"Deadpool & Wolverine" hits theaters tomorrow.
