It seems that Chappell Roan’s recent comments on maintaining "boundaries" with fans have sparked a trend among female artists, with Madison Beer now setting her own boundaries.

On Wednesday, August 28, the 25-year-old singer, who is currently on her The Encore tour, shared her reasons for frequently turning down fans' requests for photos at hotels. She explained that hotels are her sole private refuge amid her hectic schedule.

Beer addressed the confusion surrounding her policy of not allowing photos at hotels in a recent Instagram Story, which has since expired, as reported by People Magazine.

The Grammy nominee clarified that hotels serve as her "temporary home" while she is traveling, and she deserves her own private time like anyone else. She added that taking photos at hotels could potentially jeopardize her safety by disclosing her whereabouts. "Unfortunately, it can put me in danger," she said. "I hope you understand and can respect that! Love you."

Beer is currently on her Asian and Australian tour, The Encore, which started in Singapore on August 22 and is set to conclude in Melbourne on September 2.

Her comments follow similar sentiments expressed by musician Chappell Roan earlier in August, who called out "creepy behavior" from some fans and emphasized that no one is "entitled" to treat celebrities in a certain way simply due to their fame.
