The Gossip Girl alum made a dazzling appearance at Austin’s Paramount Theater, marking her first major event since her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. Rumors of tension between Lively and Kendrick surfaced following their appearance at the highly anticipated Another Simple Favor screening over the weekend.
Lively, 37, turned heads in a stunning pink latex gown, greeting fans and taking selfies inside the venue. However, when asked about reuniting with Lively, Kendrick’s vague response, "Oh, you know…" before walking away, fueled speculation of an ongoing feud.
Blake Lively’s Response to Feud Rumors
Despite the chatter, Lively took to Instagram on March 11, 2025, to express her excitement and gratitude for the movie’s premiere.
“Watching @asimplefavor opening night @sxsw felt like a rock concert,” she wrote. “Making this movie was already the gift… To share it with you all and feel the love returned to us was the best feeling.”
Director Paul Feig, however, dismissed any rumors of discord between the two actresses, asserting that everything on set was professional and harmonious.
Lively’s Legal Battle with Justin Baldoni Continues
The SXSW event comes amid Lively’s legal war with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, whom she has accused of sexual harassment while filming the 2024 movie. Additionally, she alleged that Baldoni orchestrated a smear campaign against her.
In response, Baldoni has denied all allegations and retaliated with a $400 million defamation lawsuit against both Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
