Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have dropped their latest single, "Sunset Blvd," along with a visually stunning, retro-inspired music video. This highly anticipated track is the second single from their upcoming joint album, "I Said I Love You First," set to release on March 21, 2025.

The music video showcases Gomez in a dreamy sequence, daydreaming about Blanco, with her fiancé making frequent appearances, even as a miniature version of himself. One standout moment features Gomez playfully "eating" Blanco in a whimsical scene that has fans buzzing.

The lyrics of "Sunset Blvd" are undeniably passionate, with Gomez’s sultry vocals elevating the emotional intensity. She sings about holding Blanco’s "big hard heart" and delivers some of her most evocative lines yet:

"With open arms / holding you naked / middle of Sunset Boulevard."

The bridge intensifies the longing as she croons:

"I just wanna touch it, touch it / try your hardest not to bust it / gimme gimme how I love your big, big heart."

A Song Inspired by Their First Date

Gomez shared on Instagram that "Sunset Blvd" is particularly meaningful, as it commemorates her first date with Blanco, which took place on the famous Los Angeles street.

This follows the lead single, "Call Me When You Break Up" featuring Gracie Abrams, released on February 20. The album’s first single, "Scared of Loving You", co-written with Finneas, dropped just before Valentine’s Day, setting the tone for this deeply personal project.

Marking her first album since 2020’s "Rare," Gomez’s latest project is set to feature star-studded collaborations, including J Balvin, Tainy, and Gracie Abrams.
