Jack Osbourne Reminisces About Partying at 16 with Joshua Jackson During His Dawson's Creek Cameo: 'Lived it Up!'

The reality star portrayed his true self months before achieving sobriety.
Jack Osbourne shared that he was very nervous and shy during his three appearances on Dawson's Creek, but he still managed to enjoy himself. He discussed this experience on Tuesday's episode of The Osbournes Podcast, alongside his famous family — sister Kelly, mom Sharon, and dad Ozzy.
In 2002 and 2003, he appeared in multiple guest roles on Dawson's Creek, portraying a fictionalized version of himself, supposedly the childhood friend of Busy Philipps' character, Audrey.
He recalled it as being "an enjoyable experience."
Kelly playfully reminded him about their mom's pre-filming advice: "Remember, no partying," during what she called "the wild days."
Jack, celebrating 20 years of sobriety as of April 2023, acknowledged that indeed, those days were wild. He admitted he hadn't heeded their mom's warning.
"Jack reminisced, 'I distinctly recall a night out drinking with Joshua Jackson,' during his late teens, while starring in MTV's popular reality show, The Osbournes. 'We really lived it up.'"
"He praised the experience of working with the entire cast of the WB series, including James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, and Michelle Williams.
Osbourne is currently married to Aree Gearhart and is a father to four daughters (one with Gearhart and three with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly). They have also spent time with Van Der Beek, who is a father of six children."
"Osbourne reminisced, 'We used to hang out when they lived in L.A. His wife and he moved to Texas. I bumped into Josh Jackson; he's always very polite and nice.'"
