At 36, Princess Beatrice recently appeared in the Amazon Prime series A Very Royal Scandal, which premiered earlier this month. The series dramatized Prince Andrew’s infamous career-ending Newsnight interview, shedding light on how Beatrice accompanied her father to meet the BBC team before the interview.

Sources close to the royal family now report that Princess Beatrice feels "sick of being humiliated" and is "devastated" by the show. It is said that she is avoiding Royal Lodge, where Prince Andrew has lived with Sarah Ferguson since 2003.

The Duke of York, facing discussions with King Charles over moving to a smaller residence, holds a lease on Royal Lodge through the Crown Estate until 2078. He had previously intended to leave the property to his daughters as part of their inheritance.

An insider revealed to New Idea magazine that Princess Beatrice has distanced herself from her parents’ lavish estate due to the ongoing scandal involving her father. The source noted: "It’s a tense environment, and Beatrice often plays the role of peacemaker. She’s exhausted from being caught in the middle and realizes this has been a recurring pattern in her life."

Despite being known as a "daddy’s girl," Princess Beatrice is reportedly heartbroken and hopes the “nightmare” surrounding the Amazon series will blow over soon.

The source added, "No one wants to be around Prince Andrew during this time, and Beatrice feels the strain. She’s heartbroken but hopes the situation will improve."
